channels scrambled with ajs channel list

hey al ok the problem i am facing currently is if i use a channel list like ajs channel list i cant view the paid for channels but when i just do a scan i can view them. anyone know a fix for this i do have a sub like i said its working when doing a scan but not when i use ajs channel list i have also tried the other channel list like skys one but still no look any help would be very much appreciated

channel list wont be the problem, have you checked your network settings?

well its hard to say, if you make a new scan over AJ's list, do the channels work?

no still dosnt work only when i remove the ajs channel list then does a scan it works

If your scan works, but a preset channel list doesn't, then it sounds like your Antenna setup options aren't set correctly in the Installation menu.

The LNB frequency should be Universal (9750-10600).

It sounds like whats happening is when you scan for channels yourself the box does not not need to be restarted
when you install a channel list, the box restarts and everything needs to reconnect again.
wait a while after installing a chanel list and see if your channels come on.
The only other thing I can think of is if you are using a motorised Dish/Diseqc switches and they are not set

i know its not motorised but whats with this Diseqc thing about how would i know if my dish needs that?

If you are using a single dish with just 1 LNB then both DiSEqC settings in the Antenna Setup menu should be set to "Disable".

A DiSEqC switch is used to enable the receiver to connect to more than 1 LNB. I use one to switch between the 2 LNB's on my fixed dish (19.2e & 28.2e).
