I am having some problems with my Skybox. I have UPC broadband with approx 25Mg speed and the ethernet cable plugged from the upc box directly into the Skybox. However whenever I turn off the Skybox for longer than half an hour the $ Scrambled icon appears on all the previously unlocked channels and it takes me anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour of turning on and off the Skybox and UPC box to get the locked channels to become unscrambled again. There is surely something simple that I am doing or not doing correctly? Any help appreciated.

turn off DHCP and put your own ip in like 192.168.1.40 or so then save and restart everything should work fine then -
After doing suggestion on post 2 it would be worth going in to router settings and reserving that ip address for your box so that when your box boots up the address has not been reassigned to another device.Comment

hi I am a newbie I have got strange problem with my f5s box I updated the box today rebooted all fine now even updated the channels list but for some reason it says noch on the display of the box and it wont go any further I have googled all day but no joy helpppppp..Comment
