skybox f5 boot up problems

It keeps downloading all the time goes up to 100 then starts downloading again I have tried to flash the box this is what comes up: Synchronizing STBs :Please reset target:Set stb memory error

Disconnect the sat cable from your box then try to boot it up, if it now boots checkthe f connector on your sat cable make sure it is not shorting.

I have disconnected everything from my skybox par the power cable

have you tried both the flashin softwares; one of them didnt work the first time i tried it, so used a different one and t worked straight away

I have only seen the one flash in software but I have just sent for a new modem cable see if that helps

I had this issue changed the power supply and it worked straight away. :-)

This is the correct cable you need 2m Null Modem DB9 9 Pin Serial RS232 Cable Lead eurovox | eBay

If your getting errors with both of the softwares...i would guess its the wrong cable you are using or (sorry) user error
