    other satellites without moving dish

    i was wondering if i could pick up any other satellites without moving my dish. is there a site i can see the footprints of different satellites. i am in the uk. if not i might get another dish if there is any decent ones i can recieve. thanks to anyone who replies.

    You can depending on dish size, you would need a few lab,s attached and a special splitter that hooks up each Lnb to the one sat feed into ur box, you then change the settings on ur skybox to set each port up to the correct sat.

    If you only have one Lnb on ur dish then no you can't pick up 2 sats. At once withought moving the dish.
    If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

      As the above poster states, it is possible however i have a feeling your dish may be a sky one? A zone 1 will certainly not be able to pick up decent signals on more than one satellite.

          I found other satellite by going into the menu. I chose a satellite and scanned. Picked up lots of duplicate channels though

            You might see the names of different satellites in your reciever but if you pick a particular satellite you will still only be scanningg the one satellite that your LNB is pointing towards.

              Yeah on 28.2 i would guess....or wherever your dish is pointing.....if you have Aj's list on the box
              then the sat's are in the menu......but you won't pick any up only the one your dish is lined up with....
