If you use any of the channel list from this forum they have a few hindi channels on them (28 east), but if your looking for channels in the Tamil language then you will need a dish pointing at 9 east and a valid subscription and box (paired)

All the main channels beamed to the u.k like star plus, zee, sony are there on either Aj's list or sattv5's list look under international channels if you missing these channels and live in the u.k then it could be one of two things either your dish is not alligned correctly or you missing something we are not allowe to talk about.
