WHERE DO I GET THE PATCH

guys just got an openbox x5 straight out of the box, can you tell me where can i get the latest patch from and what is the secret password for the cccam. much appreciated

patch for what? code 6666 or 8888 or 0000

well every box i have used needs a patch on it, echostars,spiderboxes,skyboxes, vu solo, dreambox

The emu comes already installed in firmware all you need is to go in to menu press 6666 then look in network settings.

well i have tried menu/then there is a load of coloured icons, installation, sw upgrade etc! i have pressed 6666,2778,1111,6666, 0000 nothing happens are you talking about openbox x5 with chipset sunplus 1512-216 pins, because thats the sat box i have just got out of the box this morning

did you go onto network and press the codes.. the x5 is the same as the f3's f5's etc innit

x5 is the sunplus processor,they just slapped the openbox name on it to get forum support.

never known the F series or openbox that need a patch...could be wrong....

Unless you mean the partwecannottakabout....that opens channels

well i eventually found out it was 2778 and i get there in the end, one thing i have found out is the picture has a very feint picture shake, the picture just does not run true on the tv, it shows a bit like a good internet stream but not a very good picture you would expect for hd tv.

well all problems sorted now, originally when i got the box there was a feint picture shake and what i managed to do is get a bin file put in the box and after doing that with 3 different sw updates eventually i managed to get a good picture and now i think its a really good 50 quids worth
