    Subtitles too fast

On some of the channels , the subtitles are too fast to read .
Can they be slowed down ?

Fat32 USB plug in box and then just press pause on remote control! Tell me you weren't really thinking of doing that?

You could record the whole programme and replay it at slow speed.

It's for my daughter who's deaf.
Some channels have 2 settings (d) and (t)
Others only have (t) which flashes too quick - especially on the kids channels

I don't think there's a lot you can do about it. I believe it's an ongoing technical issue which you used to notice even more on certain channels such as Gold and Dave and which had been affecting Sky+ HD boxes for the last year or two. They released a couple of software updates for the boxes to try and cure the faults and it seems to be successful so far. If I remember correctly I read somewhere that the issue is with the broadcasting side of the subtitles but Sky went arse backwards and decided the issue was with the receiving end and updated the boxes. Therefore, the original technical issues are still there and if you are using other satellite receivers you will still encounter the issues especially on the previously stated channels such as Gold and Dave etc.
