Hi all I have been having probs with getting my dish aligned for awhile now if I manage to get it aligned it will be ok for 5 mins and if I get a tiny bit of wind it goes crazy I also have a few trees where the dish points but I am not sure if they are enough to effect the signal I was going to buy a dish motor but was told that it would probs be no good for me if anybody could help thanks

no, just the tuner is better, so if that stays on then you know it's down to the tuner on the box your using now which you may be able to solve with an inline amp, only cost a couple of quid. Has the dish been aligned correctly too? as they only need to be a bugies nob off line and channels will drop out, i always use one of the signal testers when fitting the dish to ensure it is plum.If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

I have just tried it with the skybox I had it aligned and then when the wind blew it went off again which leads me to think it must be the dam trees !!! what gets me though is that when I had sky a year or two back I had a signal but I think I had it installed in winter when the trees would have been bare which could explain why I don't now and the fact that the tree will have grown slightlyComment
