Skybox f5 not good enough-What to buy next??

Hi guys. the skybox f5 performs well but has a near none-existant EPG. What i am trying to find out is which box would suit my needs. There seem to be pros & cons with each type of reciever.
    I would like a good picture(like the F5)
a 7 day epg with a recording facility that really works. (something like cool tv guide).
    for a fixed dish 28.2.
    twin tuner.

the Vu range is very expensive so im looking for a cheaper alternative.
boxes recommended are amiko alien 2 and technomate.
there seems to be mixed feelings towards the amiko and im unsure if technomate are any good.

Any advice would be great and if anyone can recommend make & model even better.

    hello mate

I'm afraid the vu boxes are best, I know you said they are expensive but there expensive for a reason, I have a vu duo which you can get for ?240 and the amount of stuff you can do on these is quality, you can even stream the latest movies and tv shows to your box and also browse the net through your box
I would recommend a vu+ all day long

Buy the Mini Solo m8, but they are about double the price of a F3 / F5 - these are also known as:

      Openbox HD 6000
      Ibox
      Cloud Ibox
      Solo Mini (VU+ Mini)

But are all generally the same box but might be in a different case
