    Openbox X5

I have recently been given a Openbox X5. I stay in UK.
Connected my hdmi cable, cable from the main satalite and connected it to wi-fi.
First thing i done was put the latest firmware on it.
Next i got a channel list from this forum, After that I updated the channel list on the openbox..
I went to installation on the main menu and done a automatic satelitte search and it found all the channels.
I then went on to see if it worked ok. Some channels work but all the channels with the Dollar sign next to them show a "scrambled channel" message but says my signal strengh is good and shows me whats on the channel on the listings but shows no picture.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out !!

Unfortunately what you want is barred from discussion on the forum.

You will be looking for a long time. There is a list around but doubt its for the NW.

I have not got an X5 but am sure there will be a way to change the names in the fav list and move the channels.

If you have a list, save it to a mem stick and have a play with the channel list, look in the all list for the N/West channels and see if you can work out how to move them. I've had many different boxes dropped on my toes needing channel list and have managed one way or another how the work out how to scan, name favorites and select channels for favs.

Have a read in the stickies as most of the answers are already there.

How to Edit Favs on Openbox X5

way to change the names in the fav list and move the channels.

So Far I've worked out how to edit Favourite Names on this box Quite easy Actually

                  1) Menu Button
                  2) Scroll across to Edit Channels
                  3) Right Arrow Edit Favourite's
                  4) Red Button Rename
                  5) Delete Existing Name
                  6) Rename Your Fav to whatever you want e.g. Entertainment, HD, Movies, Etc,
                  7) Red Button to Change from Caps to Lowercase and Numbers
                  8) Blue Button to Confirm

Still need to work out how to Add, Move, and remove channels but will add more info soon as I work it out

                  Hope this Helps

                  Gani
