Channel frustration!

After a few days frustration, my F3`s set up, but, still can`t get any HD Sly Movies, Boxnation etc,...I`ve updated with AJ`s list, checked all the TP`s of the missing channels, and still nothing......am I missing summat obvious? I`m pretty well a newbie to it all!!

Updating with a channel list will not unscramble the channels so you can watch them

Yes you are missing something ......before you ask this is a no go area on DK .....use google to search for the part you are missing

Whens the last time you updated the channel list ??

Turn the box off at the wall
reboot the router
turn the box back on

see if that sorts the prob

Have you ever received any of the "other" channels since having the F3?

Yes, pretty well all of them.....

When you update the channel list, does the process bar slowly go up to 10% and then quickly up to 100% or does it shoot straight up to 100%
the who update process should take about 10 - 15 secs not 1 or 2 seconds.

There was another thread about someone else having problems updating their channel list as well.....not saying that this is your problem but
its worth checking.

Also I can't go to far into this cos of the rules but is your box online or offline? and do you get any of the "other" channels or none at all, just the FTA channels?

It goes from 1% to 7% then shoots to 100% I get about 70% of other channels online......

With it being an F3 with is the better box...just my opinion

Whats the firmware date you have on the box ????

menu/system info/...... sound like the firmware is out of date

I had NO SIGNAL on all or any FWare and I simply went Menu, Satellite search, and done a multi search. Worked 1st time.NO Scrambled Channels.

Not sure where you got the firmware with that date

when i had the f3 box i always used this firmware http://www.skybox.cc/downinfo.asp?id=89 never had a prob with it

also if you flash the box back everything up 1st
