    Can't connect via ethernet cable with Skybox F3 ?

    Although I am 'connected' in network setting I can not connect to anything. Do I have DHCP on or not ? Either way I can not connect to upgrade or youtube etc

    Also the firmware I have is 3601HD_01-05-2013_0951

    Is this the latest ?

    Any help much appreciated

      After connecting the ethernet cable have you re-booted the router ??

          DHCP needs to be on unless you want to assign a fixed IP address.
          Upgrading these boxes is via USB .
          Firmware...latest official is 28-3-13SkyBox | SkyBox

              On unless you want to enter a static IP manually.

                  OK thanks, what is the update for and will it wipe out my sat info ?

                  Yes a reboot of the router fixed things sort of
