SkyBox F5s internet consumption/usage question

Bit of a noob question. I leave my box on most of the day but switch it off over night.

On average how much would the internet usage be on a weekly or monthly basis.

I know you need to be online to view certain channels but is this like a live stream..

Just of out interest do you leave the internet connected at all times or disconnect it once in while?

I read someone did this with a mobile dongle left on for 24 hrs and he said it used 4mb od data

Yes, as already said it's a miniscule amount of data used unless you are using the youtube function
