skybox f5s channel search failed but not for all of them, help

hi there
when i go to dish set up transponder shows as 70 pourcent dish signal for most of them but not all them , could it be the reason why my receiver is not picking up all the channels?
when i do a blind search it says ok for most of them but not all of them , it says failed
why is that?
on my old receiver i can pick anything easily by the way i get 86 pourcent signal strength not sure why i get less in the skybox f5s

skyboxes are strange creatures at the best of times. I wouldn't worry about the signal strength that the skybox shows because you can be sure that it's not right
Sometimes on a Blind Scan it will say failed if it searches a transponder that exists but has no channels on it (the ones that are used for ocassional feeds)

but how come i have channels missing then? how can i have them back?

I just found your other post that says that you are using a motorised dish, are you sure you have it set up correctly ?
if you are missing transponders with channels on them then the dish is not alligned correctly

It's working perfectly with other receiver , that's why I don't get it
Is it something to do with long and lat?
I can't seem to save those details in dish setting in skybox , numbers stay at 0000 lat and long

Please help if you can

ok found a way to save the dish detail ,just needed to exit
im giving another blind test , let's cross finger!

these are the details on my previous receiver for my dish, on skybox it comes like this 000.00 E ( so i entered 000.01 E i rounded up) and lat it comes 00.00 N ( so i put 05.50)
its annoying that the numbers decimal are not the same anyway , not sure what to do now

fiitc and buy a dreambox or tecnomate...... skyboxes are a one sat deal imo . don't waste your time .. get a good dm800 for less than 100 euro you will never look back

ok i managed to make it work , i think...
found all the channels needed on astra , i'm doing a 28.2 now ...
went for prescan with network instead of blind search , also changed dish position to 000.05 50.51
