no you cannot ftp as it is only a very basic box
to ftp you need a box with a linux operating system

now if you re phrase your question and ask what you are trying to do someone may or may not be able to help

i m thinking to give the box to one of my friend so i wanted to delete the gift in it
how else can i do that?

why not give him the gift, however if you don't want to then I think if you restore box to factory settings it will wipe out the Ccam file (gift) you can remove this file manually providing supplier has not passworded it etc.

I will need the gift in the future
If I do a factory setting , will it delete all the channels set up , satellite list etc ?
How can I remove manually ?
