is my skybox f5s software version that old?

hi there
is it worth downloading the newest version? happy with the box at the moment but not sure what version i have is it old? shall i update the software? will that remove all my current setting ? last questions is software and firmware the same thing ?

Its quite new really.....if its working ok, then I would leave it as it is as you don't have much (if anything) to gain.

As I understand it's just the YouTube fix on the new one ?
Will it delete all my current setting if I update ?

yes it will, you would need to dump what you want to save to usb. also check what you have dumped on a pc 1st and open it up using txt editor to make sure the important bit that we cannot talk about is in there
