gprs and upgrade by network

hi guys can anyone tell me what the GPRS is for on a f5 box and also what dose upgrade by network mean what dose it upgrade.thanks in advance.

Hi, I don't think the Update by GRPS does anything - it's for when you have a sim card in the box which, unfortunately the F5 doesn't have. (Unless there's a capability to connect a mobile phone to the box which I don't know about).
The Update by network - Updates the firmware on your box, new firmware is released from time to time. Someone usually starts a thread on here when a new firmware version is released.

The GPRS requires an additional dongle.

The Uprade by Network not available as the links always dead.

hi mate does the dongle for gprs work ok ,,,also does run off phone network etc and were to getone from hahks

Never ha an F5 cant be sure how well they wok with dongle.

I have an F4 and it works with wifi dongle, sim and I have tethered to my phone.
