no signal on certain channels f5

hi guys, finally decided to go the sat route last weekend and got my f5 box up and running. allmost all channels work great however there is a certain amount of channels that comes up with no signal??? bt sports, espn, primetime, boxnation,clubland tv, blismass and a few more. I have got the latest channel listing in and watched box office sat night there. any ideas as to why these certain channels have no signal??? any help apprciated guys

Weird , just installed mine , Bt sport Hd working fine on f5s though on my previous receiver (sky sat) by sport says no signal ( on the same dish )
Not sure what is the problem

well i wondered if it was my dish as i plugged in my old mans box and it was the same no signal on bt sports but when plugged back in at his own house it comes up no bother, but with you saying that mate makes me wonder.

I have been missing sky movie hd channels for ages. I can't get any hd ones apart from premier hd. All the sd channels are fine. I have done a rescan of the satellite, scanned the correct transponders, updated channel list but they are still scrambled. Anyone else have problems with them? Would obviously prefer to watch in hd if possible

Do you have any other satellite boxes connected to the same LNB (such as an official $ly+ box)?

I may have found your issues
look on ebay for openbox no signal fix, that should help, some kind of voltage issues with lnb ... easy fix
look at the description to make sure you recognise your problem

Hi guys well i reckon it could well be the dish. i dont have a sly sub, just fitted my dish myself with a satellite finder. however i tried my box tonight at my mates house and all the channels i have at no signal worked fine. He has a proper sly sub, hence his dish will be correct. i wonder therefore if my dish just needs slightly adjusted to get the signal for all of these other no signal channels. scared to touch dish though with all my others working perfect. nytmare

look on ebay for openbox no signal fix, that should help, some kind of voltage issues with lnb ... easy fix

Yep. It's just a rectifier type diode (1N4001 etc.) in series with the inner connector of the LNB cable.

Just to let you know in case anyone else is having an issue with an openbox s10, I changed my firmware to an original firmware(it was on some custom one that i seen linked on here) and I have no more issues. Must of been a software issue.
