    skybox f5s

i am using the following box around 6-8 weeks so far no probs but last nite moving plugs i moved the lnb lead slightly whilst watching sky sports 4 and the signal went, i cudnt get it back. tried new scan and ajs list today but that and many other channels no signal prob half them. i tried my box in a friends house with his cable and it was exact same no signal on loads channels. the friend is using s9 and used the same channel list today so the fault must be in the box. i tried different firmware today but no joy

any ideas or is the box for the bin?

this sounds like a common problem on the F5 boxes
if you have tried the box on two setups & doing the same

    defo the box

look on ebay for openbox no signal fix, that should help, some kind of voltage issues ... easy fix
look at the description to make sure you recognise your problem

Nothing to do with the no signal fix mate....if it was working ok until he moved a cable
also if his mates setup works ok
then doesn't when he plugs the box in....sounds like a tuner prob...which the cheap boxes I.e the F5 & F5s have

The no signal fix is a LNB voltage fault...yes correct...but i would say not in this case

I agree with P&D, more likely a box issue probably a lnb cable cause a short circuit which might have damaged tuner in some way.
