check you satellite cable to make sure that the cables inside the sleeve aren't shorting out (i'e the inner wire isn't being touched by the outer wire).
Make sure you check both ends.

A short circuit in the LNB cable usually causes the box to continually reboot. So I doubt that it's that.

Have you tried different video resolutions in the TV system menu of the F5s? Not all resolutions are compatible with all TV's.

I don't see why it should make a difference when you take the LNB cable out, but it's worth a try.

I have a similar problem with the living room tv but when I plug same box into a different tv with hdmi it works. I have another box which I tried in living room tv. Doesnt work either. This happened after an overload in electricity that I had to reset the circuit breaker. Ive put it down to the overload burning my HDMI out on my livingroom tv. My box boots up fine with everything plugged in except HDMI. soon as I put HDMI in the box loops. Works with Scart.

all sorted now, turned out the power supply i was using wasn't the right voltage for the box, changed it to the right power supply and all working now!

the plug that come with the box didnt work, so i used a plug i already had that fitted into the back of the box but it wasnt the same voltage causing the hd port not to work, just found a plug that was the same volts as the one the box came with (12v) and it worked perfect!
