Help - Skybox F3 - Adding new channels / Channel list

Hi I hope someone can read this and help me.

I know how to add channels (following the instructions on that sticky thread), but this is longwinded. What I do is do a full satellite scan, then add each channel (e.g sly sports 1-3) to the "sport" favourite list (all the new channels are situated at the end of the "All" section. Again this takes a while and is tedious, if you have lets say a few movies/sports/asian channels missing.

I have seen the sticky about AJ's channel list which he updates, and instructions seem simple enough to follow. But im scared how exactly to do this.
Re the deleting channels when wanting to upload AJ's list from USB to skybox - on my f3 I go into menu, and choose the option which then says "delete all channels", correct?
And if i start regularly using and updating AJ's list, do I not need to worry about fixing new channels, whether it be the using this method http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ewbies-356919/ or me scanning the full satellite.

Many thanks in advance, I would really appreciate some advice.

If you have an F3 you can forget deleting all the channels, just upgrade the latest list.

AJ & sattv5 are quick to update their channel lists when things change (sattv5 also posts temporary lists for AJ channel list users as well), but obviously if popular channels change without any warning, you may lose a favourite channel until AJ or sattv5 get the time to update their lists.

Depending on how desperate you are to get a channel back, you may still need to scan for yourself until a new list is updated.

If the transponder change is known, then there's only the need to scan a single transponder.

Thanks. They are top people. I understand what you said. I understand the odd channel may not work but I meant generally if most would work especially as they update their channel lists so often. Im guessing most would. I'll give this a go tonight.
