Open Box Identification

Hi Everybody

Just got hold of a open box , i am new to open box , need some help please. The box is called SCLASS HD 8899 MAX , did some googling , am i right in saying that this box is an " OPEN BOX S10 " ???

It had a password on it , so i managed to remove the password and did a factory default reset .


Heres my question , is this box a clone ??

The details from the box are : Model Name, SCLASS HD NOV 01.2010 , S/W VERION VER 1.2.1 (BUILD 71) APR 6, 2011, H/W VERSION VER 2.0.2 NOV 01 2010.


Secondly how do i setup to for sky uk, ( i did some reading )
will need an imagefile (not sure which one , depending if its a clone etcc, otherwise it can get bricked )
ccam .cgf , i have this

I have downloaded the help guide from this forum , going through it know , any help will be appreciated , specially about what .abs file i need

not a lot , mainly Chinese websites, where to buy it , no firmware downloads or manuals

If you uploaded some photos of the menu screens it may give clue. The software it come with maybe ok

I would have throught that providing the box works ok, why not just add a up to date channel list (and a working sea lion) and
then see if all the channels work ok?

i have uploaded the pictures , any idea's where i should start , the box has been set to factory default , i also backed up a dump to usb,

the other problem i am aslo getting know is that it also stoped detecting the usb,

No seen one like that before. Like anything else, once you have a idea how these things work you can usually get hem to perform with a bit of playing.
