    Connecting my Skybox F5S

Bought myself a Skybox F5S - only going to use it every now and again and going to use an original SKY+ HD box most of the time. I've only got two LNB outputs coming down from the dish and I don't want to add another - what I'd rather have is a way to switch the LNB output from my SKY+ HD box to my Skybox. I'm only going to be using one or the other - not both at the same time - so rather than disconnect the LNB wire and plug it in each time, is there a way I could get a switch box which would take my LNB input, and bring out two LNB outputs that I could switch between - i.e. a box that lets you output either to wire A or wire B.

If that's not going to happen - is there any other method to easily be able to switch between the two?

Thanks - sorry if I've asked any stupid questions - new to all this.

If your only goin to use one or the other you should just be able to put an ordinary splitter in as long as the box is switched off that ur not using it should work ok

...or you could use one of these :-

F Type Satellite Cable A-B Switch FREE P&P - UK SELLER | eBay (Maplin also sell these for a couple of pounds more).

You could also try connecting the cable that would normally go to the dish2 input on the sky+ box to the LNB input of the F5s. then connect a cable from the loop output on the F5s to the dish2 input on the sky+ box.

Remember that any recordings you have set up on the sky+ box may not record while you have your F5s on.
