boxkey - I'm confused

I've borrowed a legitimate sly card for Christmas period and want to use it in my DM800HD

I have the sly box s/n which consists of 16 digits. The first 7 are letters, the last 9 are numbers

Which do I use to generate a boxkey

And a link to a thread that tells me how to modify the ccam would be appreciated
