I've just bought myself a new skybox F6...but not quite sure what I need to do...Key questions for me are...1/ what firmware to use...2/ What channel list to use 3/ where can I get the files (links pls) if anyone can help please, I would be most grateful....sorry for my ignorance

your box should come with preloaded firmware, channel list AJ's or sat5 depends on your prefrance and have a look here on how to set it up http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-guide-257009/
as for the rest you'll have to google as it's against forum rules

Unfortunately you cannot use sattv5 or AJ's channel lists on an F6 or X5. It uses a different format to all other Openboxes/Skyboxes (.bin instead of .dbs).

I believe that the firmware for the F6 & X5 is also the same (but I'm not 100% sure).

There's a channel list in the download section for the X5.
