skyopen box

i put updates on a skyopen box but nowt..... server offline it says
am not that sure if memory stick had nothing on it or not.... would that knacker the box or would it just use the updates that was on the stick that was earmarked for the box or if there was other things on memo stick would they have gone on aswell?
also still got all free chanels so will the box be kaput? if you still get all free channels ???????

What were you trying to install?

A gift, a new channel list, a new firmware?

Whatever it was, the box would only recognise it if it has the correct filename & is in the right format.

For example, if you are trying to install a new channel list it must be named TP_PROG.dbs, and must be in a format that the box understands.

As for the "offline" comment, that is down to your internet connection or your gift supplier.
