Please Help

Hi, can any 1 explain / help me PLEASE how to sart with a normal sky / open box from scratch to receive all channels ?. The only thing i have learned yesterday after spending 4 HOURS is that a DBS file cant be opened with my pc but by an USB connected to my pc. Thank you

The DBS file is a channel list for your box and unless you were going to edit the file, you wouldn't normally open it with your PC has its designed

Thank you very much for you help and thanks to SHADY for an easy good guide. Yes i did get what it is now a DBS file. Now how to get an (..................................... ). And is the ............. is the gift ?. So if i get my self a normal openbox FTA , it can be transformed to a full one ? . Im verry sorry if asking too many questions , really new with this but im getting there ( I THINK )
