skybox f5s lot of glitching - using homeplugs

Can anyone give me some advice on a good box that I can record on please .

I have two F5s's plus DM800SE all work excellent so you dont have to spend loads to get a good picture, Im happy as larry ( I got rid of 2 x dm500 for the F5's and Ive not regretted it).

Some boxes are good, some are excellent just depends on what you want and what you want to pay.

Any of the humax boxes any good ?? And can you down load AJ channel list on them ? Thanks

Humax predominately make Freesat receivers for the UK now apart form the very old 5400 from Circa 1993 ( i had one great Box )

And no you cannot load AJ's list onto a Humax as his list is specifically for the Open/Skybox receivers

Ok could there be an issue with the broadband supplier I'm with talk talk?

Also when I try and upset firmware it says file mismatch

talk talk have a hub same as bt yes? may have to add a router for connection from hub-router-box to run better,too many files for skyboxes are you 100% sure its original?

so annoying the other original skybox works fine.... it seems to be a box issue? could it be a tuner problem

Ive just returnd an f5s to shop for another f5s the first one got quite hot very quickly, had trouble with quad lnb sorted now by stting f5s up first turned on the lnb power on f5s in menu f5s working fine, then connected my amiko alien2 then even my freesat tv, all was working till f5 blew (longest time it was on was about 4 hours,think was an overheating problem) and wouldent load showing a dim number 8 on display, new1 a lot cooler, free channels seem ok and just poped here for ajs list and to sort my line (thought i'd try and help while im here).
As another member said if freeview is glitchin then its nothing to do with the net best of luck i'll pop back later if any more info i can help with.
