SKYBOX F3S MOVIES HD & BOXNATION PROBLEMS

    Hi

I have a sky mini dish with a octo lnb .
Running off it I have 2 sky + hd boxes and a skybox f3s.

When they are all plugged in and powered up at the same time.
I cannot receive any hd movies or boxnation on my skybox f3,,,, but I can receive the movies in sd and no boxnation and also I receive all
    sky sports in hd.

When I unplug my 2 sky + hd boxes,,,, I can get everything in hd on my skybox f3 and boxnation

I need to have them all powered up at the same time.
Any ideas what's causing this problem or how I can get around it seem strange how I get some hd channels but not others to my skybox f3 when they are all powered up.

    Thanks

dw simpler to get a better box that works.

its well known that skyboxes have many issues and yours fits it to a tee, providers boxes and skyboxes dont mix on older lnbs.
that was usually with a quad and you have an octo and it was changed.

would a lnb amplifier booster to the skybox work
or is it a case of running the skybox off a separate dish with a different lnb

Perhaps it would be better if the providers change their boxes or supplied decent lnb's.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the official Receivers and LNB's its the Cheap Chinese tat that people keep using on them, i have tried various receivers on a 43cm dish with quad LNB and its only the cheap F3/F5 that seem to exhibit the problem

I have a F5s and $ky box off my sky minidish without an issue. Each one is fed separately (ie 2 feeds into $ky box, 1 into F5s box).

Before I had the F5s feed separately I shared it with the $ky box (ie use loop feature of F5s) and that's when I would have issues with losing hd channels (movies/sports).

In most case it seems to be the lnb's initially installed by the provider and most have cured it by changing to a universal lnb as the cheapest option.

The Official $ly Quads are a Universal LNB, Maybe its a certain brand/type that are causing problems or maybe some people are just lucky with Skybox/Openbox

You could try the "no signal fix" option from Ebay.
