Which channel list

Hi
I have a box that has a few scrambled channels, and after doing a bit of reading on here it seems its possible the transponders need adjusting
Thing is, i dont know what type of box it is or what list i am supposed to look for (i am a bit of a technophobe)

any clues and guidance on what i need to do?

Well you posted in the Skybox/Openbox section so one would assume you have one of those.

If its something different you should take a closer look and make known any names or numbers to establish the setup you have.

Yeah my bad, it says HD BOX PLUS 1000 (just a cheap box i think), i didnt know what section to put it in

btw, i have ordered the sky f5s box, and going to have a play with that, then maybe upgrade the box to one of those VU boxes, as i just found out the epg on the sky f5 is stil poor

After a little more digging I ended up on a French site that said Ali compatable. This was on a forum dated June 2012 so yes its an oldy.

Scan the box with a blind scan and dump the channel file to a stick then check the name of the file. If it ends in .dbs then you could try AJ's or Satv's channel lists.

Where abouts in the country are you? if your close enough may be ale to have a play with it.

loughbrough mate, its no biggie to be fair, my SKY F5s has just arrived so i will have a play with that, and on first inspection, an upgrade wont be too far away


edit, i have just found an old update file, its in TVF format if that helps
