    SkyBox F5 stuck on LO46

    Hi guys..

    I been try for the last few days fix a SkyBox F5 is stuck on LO46 i try to flash it so many times i lost count... The firmware download and burn into the the box and when finish just goes back to the LO46 i also try about 5 different firmware still no joy.

    Any ideas please ?

    Are you flashing this via USB or doing it the correct way via the RS232 method

      If its stuck on LO46 upgrading from USB stick is not an option. Needs recovery via RS232.

          If its definately burning the flash and still sticking on LO46 it looks like the chip is buggered.

          Have you tried letting it boot with no leads connected. ie. No HDMI Ethernet & Sat cable.

            Hi bud, yes i try with cables and without any cables and still the same i also try different firmwares and still the same keeps stuck at LO46. no joy with this one

              I would say the main chip has gone which means a new Motherboard.

                  Put it up on Ebay. Most faulty Openboxes/Skyboxes get a decent price on there.
