        Format the drive and retry.

I've had this problem umpteen times- and formatting the usb HDD seemed to fix the decompression issue.

As above that's your issue FAT32 the USB first

What is the xmltv? I'm new to skybox and haven't got to grips with the EPG yet

I have this problem today for the first time with a USB device that has been in box for weeks. Reformatting the usb device does not solve it

I see on other threads that this appears to be an XMLT problem
