help annoying noise from skybox f5s

I am getting a very annoying noise from my skybox f5s. It seems to get worse when turned on to hd channels. Please can anyone give me adviceadvice thanks

Do you mean that the noise is coming from the box itself, or that it's comming from the TV sound?

I'm getting a clicking noise when watching TV up through the box coming through the TV

Itz from the box itself. A whiny noise it not bad when am watching standard channels. But then gets.more high pitched on hd channels. I just dont know if this is normal

I no what noise ur talking about I don't get it but I put a multi room in for someone a while ago and the box upstairs didn't but the one downstairs did so swapped boxes and the box what did it downstairs was upstairs and not making the noise so it was only when connected to the tv downstairs if I unplugged everything and just had the tv on and the box you couldn't hear the noise or if u pluged in from scart. I don't no if this is right but his tv was a very old first hdmi tv and I say that was the problem but that's all I could make out from it. Hope this helps

The noise only seems to be on hd channels. When I take out my LNb it disappears. My sky sub runs out on feb would that interfere with the box in any way or am I just bein silly
