To clarify what I posted in that other thread. You can connect 2 boxes to 1 LNB provided they are connected to different ports on the LNB. The most common Sky installed LNB is a quad, which has 4 ports.
As digicon says, what you cannot do is use a splitter to connect 2 boxes to the same port on the LNB if you want to use both boxes at the same time, as there will be a conflict between H/V/Hi/Lo switching. If only one box will be on at any time, then a splitter could be used.
