Various boxes will give slightly different strength / quality results, but your readings are much the same as mine on an Openbox X3. No problems with glitching here.

Signal of 73% for Sports is normal and will not cause scrambling, that is down to your line provider or poor internet.

Same readings here on BBC1. Don't think your 'quality' readings are the problem, as I'm sure I've had much lower readings during bad weather (around 50 percent or less) and still no glitching.

Same here, most my channels are at around 70% and completely glitch free.

I had similar problem, make shore your input cable from disk is good tight fitting a bit loose and will cause glitch.

Sounds like it could be firmware, either that or a dodgy box. Have you not tried resetting to factory settings and doing a fresh firmware update? Dump everything to usb first of course and see if that works

could be firmware, or even power supply problems. If you post the actual make / model of box, someone may be able to narrow the possible cause down for you.

Had spethng similar and moved the LNB a bit. It fixed it.

If yours doesnt fix it... You could.

Reflash with the correct firmware. Get the ID of the current firmware on the box from the menu, information area and CRC it. (Cross Reference Check)

U could factory default the box, select nothing to delete, IE cccam-Smartcard info, press the blue button for OK, but make sure you do a USB dump-bakup first though..

How many "sealions" are alive on the box at one time?
