    No Signal?

    Got a new sealion and plugged in my F3 and all channels are showing NO SIGNAL. Even when I do a blind scan Im getting-pulling in about 10 fta channels. Checked dish and seems ok. Sealion is active and online. (blind scan is pulling in nothing really, except a couple of freeview ones.)

    Defaulted box. Deleted channel list and its still same..............

    Im in N.Ireland..Are we all in the same boat..?

    EDIT::: Just thinking....

    I think its something to do with my LNB tbh as the weather was bad...

    How can I check this correctly though? Would the LNB affect all channels or just some?

    SNR on $cram channels and most other ones = 07-10% (SQ= Signal Quality- SI= Signal Intensity)

    TP list is showing 78 TPs. Only about 5 or 6 TPs have a blue signal and green signal, and all others are grey with under 45% S I and 10% S Q.

    TP num 1 has Sig Intensity of 90% and Sig Quality of 72%....All others with blue-green are 90& but with SI of 40% and moving to 30% and back up.

    LNB............Yes....?

    The Firmware with the woman with a scarf logo was on it and I recently flashed it with iron man logo.

      Hi Frogger wondered what u think mate. I've put up a dish for first time fixed some other problems. I've plugged in digital sat finder says that signal is 99% from dish but receiver says no signal on all channels I was thinking that cause av not polarised/ skewed the lnb that this is the problem im not get any channels at all not even FTA? Which for Astra in UK I would have to turn the lnb to the skew for my gps Cheers in advance

          HI...in NI the dish alignment is essential..we are at the edge of the satellite area....skew wise looking at the dish tilt the bottom of the LNB to the left about 1 inch as a starting point and get someone to watch the signal quality display on the TV...make ting skew adjustments to get the max quality....should easily get 70+% if the dish is pointing anywhere near the right satellite...signal intensity should be well into the 80's%.

          The dish connector on the skybox range is a bit odd and sometimes needs the wire kinked slightly to ensure a good connection.
          If you continue to get no signal ... select other Satellites from the Installation list and see if any find a signal....from there that should tell you if your looking at the correct satellite......2 or 3 degrees out looks likes nothing at the dish but is miles out in relation to the satellites...trial and error i'm afraid unless you have a professional dish finder which tells installers exactly which satellite they are pointing at these days.

          There are sat finder web sites for your post code which show a virtual line in relation to your house....just enter you post code and the sat you want and it shows a line to point along
          Dishpointer.com is the handiest
