Sky box f5 wont start up

I'm very new to the skybox f5 world I've watched a YouTube video on how to upgrade my channels, I deleted my channels I've download the new channels to my USB stick when I've pulled my box out to put USB in my box went off now it won't boot back up. It's loading up to where it says L100 then it goes blank the screen then a greyed out number 8 appears on screen then it just try's to load and does that all the time. Anyone no what's happened ?.

Try taking the satellite feed out and then reboot it.

It's seen to if worked but every now and then it turns off and does the same. Anyone no what the grey number 8 means when it won't load up? Thanks guys

Can you remember the latest firmware you loaded up to your box?
From my experience and if I'm not wrong loading a newer channel list (last weekend) on an older firmware (20130821) causes continuous rebooting after L100 and I had to use the recovery tool to bring it back.

Not got a clue what firmware it is. I went to ajsat site and downloaded channels list from 14/12/13 if I remember right. It's working now but seems to mess up every now then. Where can I check firmware mate

Menu -> Tools -> Information -> Software ver

One question, does your box have a blue background or something similar? Clones have that feature.

Given the circumstances it would be advisable to upgrade to the latest firmware:
SkyBox | SkyBox

Always backup your gift and your channel list before making any changes

redownload and reinstall the channel list again, your channel list seems to be corrupted and as opposed to it bricking your box it just temporary crashes it.
