noise from skybox f5s

Can some help! I have a noise coming from my box very anoying constant beep. The hd channels are worse than standard ones. If I have my box on and take out the LNB the noise goes away but as soon as conected it's back again. The picture quality is.brilliant but this noise is doing my head in

It could be due to an inductor vibrating in one of the PWM voltage switching circuits. You could try taking the case apart & try touching the inductors until the noise stops, but the clips holding the top of the case are very fragile & break easily, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you are very carefull.

If it is an inductor, you could try covering it with silicone, or glue to stop the noise.
