I have a double plate in my living room

It has a connection for Sat & one for Radio

Can the Radio connection be used for a 2nd tuner or is it a different signal or something?

The Radio outlet is generally for Radio Signal be it FM or DAB

So is it just an extension from the cable coming down or does it have a seperate cable from the dish?

I could not answer that as i cannot see the Plate or whats behind it cable wise, if your feeling a little adventurous take the face plate of and see how many cables are feeding into the wall plate and note which side is which ie: Satellite or Radio.

It could also be a diplexed plate which would mean 1 cable coming down feeding satellite and Radio into the faceplaye

Tried everything i can think of, i dont have second cable coming down

The problem is i have a cumunal dish & the dish on my neighbours roof

How many wires can come of the dish as the dish is already going to 3 houses

Would the guys from sly leave any extra cables coming for the dish in my neighbours loft? is this standard?

As its a communal Install and you only have one cable behind the Faceplate then it sounds as if its a diplexed wallplate thus feeding 1 x Satellite signal and 1 x FM/DAB signal down the same cable.

So to answer your original question this cannot be used for a second tuner as the Plate only carries one satellite feed only
