Ghosting on signal

Hi,

I've got everything updated and just sorted the channel list.

The only trouble is i seem to get a lot of ghosting with the picture, or lag almost. Especially watching sport, for example, when watching football and the camera pans across the pitch the half way line is visable lagging behind with the rest of the picture, same with the players etc.

Just wondered if this is anything to do with the signal or that the internet connection is slower than it should be, totally knew to skybox's so not sure.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

also been told by someone it could be the box and i might be better getting a VU+ or something similar?

what type of display is your receiver connected to as in LCD or LED or Plasma

It won't be your internet connection, as it only communicates once every 8 seconds.

Does it happen on all channels (FTA and $)?

The tv is LED, happens on all channels but is worse on HD

have you tried changing your video format? mines on 1080i but when its on 1080p or anything else it acts a bit weird and laggy.

Is this only happening on fast moving objects and sports such as football, Rugby as you described etc.. then its all down to the LED refresh rate, Every couple of years i change my main Viewing screen i have yet to see an LED or LCD compare to the fast refresh rate that Plasma can provide its the ideal panel for Sports fast moving ones anyway. I always noticed like a ghost tail on the ball very faint but still noticeable.

With the advent of the UHD 4K screens and OLED i am hoping this apparent Ghost effect can be gotten rid off finally but have yet to see one showing sports at normal speed, Most Demo's seem to slow down so you can see the crystal clear image
