    Updating F5S software

Hi all got myself a skybox f5s just after Christmas and all works ok (came with gift). I just wondered if I should update the firmware a mine is 3601hd_01_08_2013_0a5f. If so could you point me in the right direction on how to do this, where to get a newer firmware from and should I backup my firmware before I do it and how. Many thanks......

just check the posts in the forum...or the red post at the top of the openbox section all the files you need will be in them
or you could always use the search facility

If its not broke, don't try to fix it or you may end up sorry.

I backed up my settings on my F5s onto a small flash drive and left it in the box it came in to forget about and hope I won't ever need it!

As DW190 says I wouldn't fix what isn't broken. Enjoy your box for what it is! If you do want to get technical those VU+ Duo's sound good! I think that's my next move after I've had my Skybox F5s for a while!

Thanks all for your replies, I just wondered if the newer firmware had extra things on that my firmware doesn't...
