Skybox F3 box issue- front of box lights not working but box works READ PLEASE

    Hi,

i have a problem with with my skybox f3. It happened when I turned the box on it turned on normally but then the channel wouldn't change and nothing came on the tv just a black screen. I tried to turn the box off from the remote and the box itself but that didn't work too. S I had to turn it of using the main switch at the back of the box.

i then tried to to turn the box on again but then the display on the front of the box wasn't working it the light on the Ethernet port at the back was flashing like it probably does when it works normally

    can anyone help me?

Is there no other possible way to fix this issue? Im hoping that buying a new display board is my last resort.

If the box can still work without this as in if i can still watch channels and use remote like normal then i probs wont buy it but it seems to not be showing any tv display too so im think that the display board is not the problem. Anyone agree?

A box that appears dead, but still shows signs of life by the lights on the ethernet port lighting up, can usually be recovered by reflashing using the RS232 serial port method.
