Skybox f3 boot problem

Hi guys
just got a f3 box of my mate, it loads up to Lo90 and stops there. Have tried flashing with null cable with various files but mainly it still loads to Lo90.
If it does get past Lo90 i can load channel list and do factory reset It freeze wen I navigate back thru the menu. None response to remote except if I hold power button box reboots as it should, but then sticks at the Lo90 point yet again!
any ideas peeps?

sounds like a bad firmware flash ......when you flash it by RS232 are you ticking boot loader ???...it should be ticked
