You would be better seeking advice from the Enigma 2 section as this is a Linux E2 clone of the VU Solo.

With the S6000HD the red light will turn blue when the image is loaded via usb.

The openbox s6000 is a vu solo clone and recovery is same as installing new image here is a tutorial I did on another forum:

How to load new images to Openbox 6000 HD

            What you need:
1.Download the image of your choice eg openpli, vix, blackhole etc..
2.A USB stick formatted to FAT32

            Method:
1.Open the rar/zipped folder that you downloaded (some people forget)
2.You will see vuplus folder move it completely to USB stick
3.Power off your box then plug in USB stick in to the USB port of your box
4.Power on your box and wait your image will be updated (about 1 to 3 mins)
5.Pinky light on front of box means updating image
6.After 40 to 50 secs light will go red meaning formatting flash
7.Light goes pinky again meaning writing to flash
8.Once complete you will see flashing blue light
9.You have finished power Off box remove USB stick

You can switch power on your box now with your new installed image

                      Have you read the thread.

The box you have is a Linux E2 receiver and does not work the same way as other Openbox's.

You need to upload an E2 image via the usb.

They have both gone invisible again!

I notice both posts were "Last edited by digicon; Today at 09:21 AM." Did that have something to do with it?
