No signal issue after reboot loop ?? help please people :-)

Hi guys, Some help if you can.

Been usuing a skybox f5s for a while n ow no issues, then suddenly it gets stuck in a reboot loop, after a while of rebooting i got it back on and working, but now i have an issue of no signal? i tried deleting channel lists and reinstalling no joy, so i deleted channel list again and done a rescan, now the box only pics up channel 4 and a few other channels.. i dont get channels 1-5 or any sky channels, any ideas as to what has happened here? Any advice would be great thankyou :-)

ps also like to add that when scanning using blind scan, it fails on loads of lines ...

Your problem is either the tuner which I doubt, more likely the f-connection at the lnb or water in cable or the connection of the cables from back of box make sure coaxial cable is connected properly and follow it all the way back to the dish making sure everything is water tight and in place correctly also a old lnb could be causing a problem and at the end of the coaxial cable make sure the bare wires arnt touching check also the lnb as I've had problems with spiders laying eggs in one of mine

yes there is another sky+ connected, however i have a diode fix in place, like i say its worked fine for ages and only started doing this after reboot loop problem .. no worries bro thanks for the reply ive got a nother box from a mate to try see if it tuner as this was my initial thought, thanks for the reply :-) il update when i solve this!

Stick the old one on Ebay for "spares or repairs".
