    Favourites set up

    Hi guys,

I have just ordered a new Skybox F5s after getting frustrated with with the F3 EPG not working.

When I update the AJ channel list on the new box, will I need to manually add all favourites again with the remote control or is there a quicker way?

the epg on all the skyboxes are crap ( only now and next ) I think the latest f5s has a 7 day epg, if you put ajs channel list on your box your favourites will be on

Just to Clarify Both the F3s and F5s have Full 7 day EPG and i would imagine any newer models to be released will have the same functionality

If the box comes with a pre-installed channel list, then installing AJ's list might work OK. If you install AJ's list & the Favs are wrongly labeled, or simply say Fav1, Fav2 etc. then you can do a "Factory Settings" from the menu which will correct the Favourite labels.

Got this tip from somewhere on this forum, On the remote select Menu > Factory Settings > Select Yes > Then Press Blue
(Don't make any choices at the menu) .This has wotked on f3,f3s and f5 for me

All worked brilliantly, firmware was already installed on box but no channel list.

So I did a Factory Reset> Updated AJ channel list but Pressed Blue button (Don't make any choices at the menu)
The screen will flash black and you will be back at the menu. Had to reboot box as it would let me go back to channel.

Box came back on, channels on and all favourites sorted In the correct order.

              Thanks for everyone's help.
