Hi, when i do a factory reset, this may sound soft but does this not affect the current firmware i have on the box. I doubt it should but i now understand what you mean. Help is appreciated...

        here is a simple fix,

My Favourites are all wrong since I loaded your list how do i fix them ?

The way to get The favourites under the correct headings is to load the default :
On the remote select Menu > Factory Settings > Select Yes > Then Press Blue (Don't make any choices at the menu)
The screen will flash black and you will be back at the menu. If you check your favourites now they should all be in the correct order

        credit goes to sattv5

I was having the same issue till I searched and signed up to this site.

Why not download AJ's or sattv5's lists from this forum. Then you will get more support from members that use those lists.

Morning Hadron, first of all thank you all for your support. I have now downloaded AJ's list and installed this on my latest device. The problem is always having to replace the so called warranty when i update the channel list?

You do it exactly as described by sattv5 in his channel thread:

My Favourites are all wrong since I loaded your list how do i fix them ?

The way to get The favourites under the correct headings is to load the default Database:
On the remote select Menu > Factory Settings > Select Yes > Then Press Blue (Don't make any choices at the menu)
The screen will flash black and you will be back at the menu. If you check your favourites now they should all be in the correct order

Hi, i uploaded AJ's channel list onto a new box with no channel list on it at all. Still the favourites end up in there respective groups however; the names are not updating.

                          Factory Reset the box.

Dont make any selection when doing so

                          Menu
                          Tools
                          Factory Setting
                          Yes
                          Blue Button.

                          Now how hard was that.

You may need to turn off the subtitles and make sure your DHCP is On.

If you are talking about the warranty its best kept in the original box and do nothing, if you want to update use this info, no factory setting.

The "so called warranty" is another name for "gift".

If you are installing a channel list on a box that has previously not had a channel list installed (or one that had a channel list from a different provider, with a different favourites layout) then you will need to reset the box to factory settings to install the default database.
