    Openbox X5, No signal error???

Hi, last week I bought an x5, it was fine for a few days then out of the blur every single channel and transponder displayed 0% and no signal would appear on the screen. I tried to rescan and it wouldn't find any channels, eventually I did a factory reset and reinstalled the firmware and it managed to reinstall the channels after the scan.

A few days later exact same problem so i did the same steps but after reinstalling the firmware and the factory reset it still wouldn't find any channels and 0% on all transponders
    Until a few hrs later.

Today I've come hone and same again.

I know my dish is fine and all connections, it works flawlessly in between these episode's.

    Any ideas???

    Thanks

That sounds like a dry joint on the tuner.

Mot sure if the X5 tuner is removable like the old s10 or if its fixed to the main board.

If it is a removable tuner like the s10 you can push them home without removing the cover through the vents. If you try this was

Make sure the plug is removed from the mains.

Just had a peek at some X5 pics and the tuner appears to be soldered to the main board. Still a possibility of dry joint.

Its going back, I know these boxes are cheap but to break after a few days isn't what I expected , am thinking of going for a dearer box with a good EPG, any suggestions anyone?
