I believe the OP means that the whole " Network Settings " page menu is missing and therefore, according to the Libertview support site, he needs to update the firmware for his box. He has 2 choices. He can either download the latest firmware from the official Libertview site but for some reason this software is not as up to date as the Skybox firmware and therefore does not have the 7 day epg or PICON enhancements. Or he can update with the latest Skybox firmware available from my forum threads or the Skybox website but then he will have the wrong start up image on his box, although he will have the enhancements.Comment

I personally would use the Skybox software as you would have the latest 7 day epg enhancement but in order to use this feature you must keep a usb stick in the box at all times for it to function and automatically update and therefore you would lose the use of the usb socket if you want to connect your box using wifi. It is important to remember that before doing any updates you must always back up your files first and purely for that reason I recommend that you use/ or at least read first this software thread below before the latest software. Read further down the thread and you will see that I have given a brief explanation of how to back up and install the software.

I'm not sure if that works, I suppose the OP could give it a try first, but according to their support site several users had to upgrade their firmware for the network settings page to appear in the menu. Then of course they then had to use the 6666 trick in the network settings menu page to enable the cam menu listing.Comment

Thank you ever so much for your time and info, I know it must be a real head doer to be asked these type of questions but your information is so much appreciated by people like me, thanks once again I'll try what you have said and hopefully I won't have to speak to you again ( in nicest possible way )Comment

Manufacturers despatch units in this way to avoid any problems for the main dealers. Selling them with software only capable of obtaining Freesat channels.
Modified software that allows one to obtain subscription channel without paying is a NoNo so the dealers remain safe. Any modification by the end user is not their problem.
Thats why DK has a strict policy of not allowing discussions about the subject.
I'll shut up now or digi will be slapping my hands or removing my posts.Comment
