2 SkyBoxs inteference?

    2 SkyBoxs inteference?

    hello, i have 2 skyboxes one is an f3 in the living room connected to a dish pointing at 30w the other is a f5s in the bedroom connected to a dish pointing at 28.2e

    the f3 is connected wirelessly and f5s by ethernet

    when i switch both on they seem to intefer with on another, one will go scrambled for the other one to work then that one will go scrambled and the other one will work for a bit. anyone know whats going on?

    I assume you have separate LNB feed to each one.

    Do you have a good signal (watch a FTA channel) on both boxes and is it ok then?

      yes it's 2 seperate dishes. i will try fta channels 2moro as i cant test right now, but something else that was happening is the boxes were also rebooting by themselves at random ponts.

        If you are sharing (something that we cant talk about here,) that may be your problem why channels are scrambling

          defo not sharing one is European one is sky.

            Guys please do not mention anything to do with Card Sharing, Please keep to the point at hand which is 2 receivers interfering with one another.

            My suggestion would be check in your router menu and see if they are having an IP clash as its well known that Clones share the same MAC address, Just an Idea

              If you can have both boxes on at same time whilst watching a FTA channel on both without a problem then it's likely to be something, as digicon has pointed out, that cant be discussed here.
